It’s no secret to anyone who knows me … I hate winter. I know that hate is a strong word. But in this case, it’s not really even strong enough. I truly hate winter. Every year I tell myself that I should move somewhere warmer – with less snow. But year after year I stay here in upstate New York and deal with the months (and months and months) of cold and snow. Today I remember why.
When you live through a winter in upstate New York, spring is nothing less than a miracle.
Praise God. The sun is shining and I can hear happy kids playing outside. One of the many blessings that comes with living right next to the school.
Hello spring! I’m happy to see you.
