Loving Every Minute

Just got out of a meeting with my pastor who is also the leader of the Middle School Boys small group. He was telling me about their group time last night. He had them playing a bible trivia basketball game that he invented. This is his account…

I asked them, “Who was Jesus’ mother”
One of them yelled “GOD!!”

I said, “No, it starts with an M”
They yelled “Molly!”

… Thank you Lord – for calling people to middle school ministry so that I don’t have to do it.

Maybe I should start making up random songs in the office. Yes? No?

This is my favorite picture from this weekend’s baptism in the lake. The water temperature was about 42 degrees. Two students were baptized. Two more students went in the water with us … just as a sign of friendship and support.

Now THAT is love.
